Robeson County Solid Waste-Invitation to Bid

 

INVITATION TO BID

 

The Robeson County Solid Waste will be accepting sealed bids for construction of the Phases 5 and 6 Expansions of the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Landfill and the horizontals expansion of the Construction and Demolition (C&D) Landfill at Robeson County Landfill located at 246 Landfill Rd, St Pauls, NC 28384. This project includes excavation and grading of base grades, construction of the soil liner for the MSW landfill, construction of the protective/drainage layer, installation of the leachate forcemain, construction of the access road, and construction of erosion and sediment control features.

Bid documents in electronic format will be made available to the bidders upon request. LaBella will provide a link to the bid documents to the Contractors who attended the mandatory pre-bid meeting.

 

Bidding Schedule:

Bidding documents for Contractors available on                   February 11, 2020. 

Mandatory pre-Bid meeting held on site.                                  February 18, 2020 at 11:00 am.

Questions submitted by email to LaBella Associates, P.C.    February 24, 2020 by 5:00 pm. 

Sealed bids will be due no later than                                          March 3, 2020 by 3:00 pm.

 

Bids should be hand delivered or mailed to Gene Walters, Director, Robeson County Solid Waste 246 Landfill Rd., St Pauls, NC 28384. Place “BID ENCLOSED” and bid opening date on the envelope. Award will be made in the best interest of Robeson County Solid Waste Department. The right to reject any or all bids and proposals and to accept bids other than the low bid is reserved.
