This multifaceted department promotes an equal and effective means of employee relations, administers positions and pay classification, employment training and employee benefits countywide for approximately 1,100 employees.

What are the minimum requirements for applying for a county job?
All applicants must be at least 18 yrs old and meet requirements for each job listing.
How long is my application kept on file?
Applications are kept active one (1) year from the date of application.

What are your working hours?
Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. However, some work schedules may vary.

Upon selection, a candidate must submit to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Note: If you are applying for the Sheriff’s Department, Jail, or Communications, you must submit your application to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Department.
